Community Manager, Relationship Marketing and Communications
Zú is a non-profit organization whose mission is to bring together, support and propel creative entrepreneurs in the entertainment sector to generate world-class innovative projects.
It supports them in their creation and growth process, by facilitating access to the resources necessary for the development of new intellectual property.
In an eclectic environment offering state-of-the-art infrastructure, Zú is working to bring together a community seeking to showcase Quebec creativity around the world.
Reporting to the Communication and Marketing Manager, the incumbent will act as Zú’s digital voice on various platforms (website, social media, newsletter, member space, etc.); will be responsible for the daily management of these platforms to keep them effective and dynamic; and will establish and implement a community engagement strategy to mobilize and convert stakeholders while developing sustainable relationships with the community through an engaging online dialogue.
CONTENT CREATION AND BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE
Carry out daily research (competitive analysis and news monitoring) and be on the lookout for new trends in the sector;
Seize innovation opportunities and present them to the community;
Create and publish insightful, timely and strong conversation-starting content, adapted to different platforms (visual, video, blog, posts, members' area, etc.);
Ensure that Zú’s digital communication channels are updated daily: website, social media, newsletter, members' area.
On a daily basis, establish and maintain dialogue that is engaging, bold and based on the latest trends in the community of creative entrepreneurs and tech and entertainment enthusiasts;
Develop, maintain and implement a high-level editorial calendar in line with the organization’s content strategy and business objectives;
Interact with bloggers and influencers in the community to increase brand credibility;
Develop and implement social media strategies, including by identifying and evaluating key success factors;
Grow our existing communities and level of engagement;
Develop structuring partnerships to maximize Zú’s visibility among the members of the network.
Develop and implement a relationship marketing strategy;
Develop the content required to implement this strategy (newsletters, contests, membership recruitment campaigns, member loyalty program, etc.);
Manage Nexudus, our website’s white label CMS, on a daily basis.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCES
Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing, public relations or a field related to the position;
Minimum of three years of experience in community management and digital marketing;
Demonstrated interest in the cultural, entertainment, technology and innovation industries;
Perfect command of French and English, both orally and written;
Experience in creative writing;
Experience as a blogger is an asset;
Good knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook Business Manager, Google Tag Manager, Hootsuite and Mailchimp;
Basic knowledge of the main languages (HTML, CSS);
Experience in relationship marketing: promotional emails, newsletters, loyalty programs.
